Sales Quotation

Hi everyone,

I think you know sales quotation in D365. There is a activities button in sales quotation's form actionpane. We can enter this field with action, event etc but i can confirm the quotation and i can transform quotation to sales order during the activities are not compleated. What is the aim of activities button?

    Hi Enes,

    The activities are intended as follow up to check the progress or contact the customer/prospect. There is no functionality implemented that all activities should be closed nor there is an activity with will manage the release of the confirmation. It would be up to the judgement of the user to confirm the quotation and create a sales order first or first close activities. Maybe you would even want to have a follow up activity to check if the goods were received to their satisfaction.

    If you would require a validation, you can consider a customization.
