Hello everyone

for implementation of asset management module in oil refinery factory I noticed that for updating counter we have 3 methods, first manual, second automatically update based on production hour and third automatically update based on production quantity. these options can be used for production lines and get data from rout of the lines. As I heard there is device part in assets which called "PLC", it is a Programmable Logic Controller, or PLC, is a ruggedized computer used for industrial automation. These controllers can automate a specific process, machine function, or even an entire production line. My question is, can we use PLC data in asset management for updating counter of assets?

I have the same question (0)
