This is what I received from Microsoft after my final inquiry. You can use IE and go to admin.dynamics.com and use their new support preview and submit a ticket. You may have this same issue as well.

    Hello Brandon,

Thank you for contacting Microsoft Support. My name is Wei Le Zheng and I am the Support Professional who will be working with you today on your support request regarding this subject: "Cannot Create Invoice From Order".

Regarding your issue, is a known issue that we discovered yesterday, multiple organizations are affected. The reason is the mismatch between the organization and the DB.

Another strange behavior is that Production and sandbox environment is having same customization but it work properly on Sandbox and gives error for Production.

Hi Brandon, thanks for your suggestion. But I have already checked with this setting and it is not working in either of these settings.

When I open any entity say Quote or Opportunity and select record from the list and again navigate from the form view to another entity or back to list error dialogue box popups which includes this error.

    Hi Brendon,

    this looks strange!

I hope you have tried in other browsers as well , also clear the Cache/Cookies.

lastly this is something which you must get in touch with MS if continues.

Looks like my picture is too small. Hopefully my description will get you there.

We had this same issue yesterday. The Microsoft support agent had us go to Settings, Administration, System Settings and then scroll down on the first page that pops up and look at the setting for Legacy Form Rendering. It should be set to No. That cleared up part of our issue, however we still have issue with ribbon buttons not working.
