Salesforce.com to Dynamics CRM Migration

Folks,

Is there a reliable tool for migrating sf.com infrastructure to MS CRM? I understand there are inbuilt tools availbl within MS CRM but do they provide capability to migrate 10k users / 4million records? I would also like to hear from someone who had the first hand experience if any on migration. Will be good to know the procedures and methodology used on a successful migration...

Thanks

Arul

    Hi Arul,

We have a solution we developed called CRMMigrate that will do just that. We have reference sites and please feel free to download a free trial from our website www.qgate.co.uk More than happy to go through it in more detail with you and we also have a video on the site.

    All the best, Ian

Thanks Ian for the update. I'll go over the materials within the site and will let you know. If I can ask you, do you have a business case why a customer should prefer Qgate on top of Scribe? Just to justify the people up the ladder..

    Cheers Arul

    Hi Arul,

Good to hear from you. From a business case it is really the cost of our purpose built tool which incorporates an intuitive wizard driven process with full audit trail and can accomodate all aspects of Custom fields versus the cost of Scribe plus the consultancy to achieve the same goal. As a guide our feedback has been that the Scribe consultancy element can be anywhere between 10-30 days. Our solution works in hosted, on-premise and Microsoft On-Line environments and as an example we have migrated salesforce data held in Australia initially into a hosted environment in the UK and then onto an on premise implementation. Please feel free to contact Phil Rawlinson, David Brown or Jason Nash at Microsoft to get their input and this solution is featured in the Microsoft Global Business Partner site. If you would like a quick chat I am on 07786 910611.

    All the best, Ian

Hi Ian - Thanks for the details. Appreciate it. I will check with my customer about their affordability and options. If I get any lead based on their decisions, I will synch up with you.

    Have a good day!

I would recommend Scribe Software. We have converted a few SF.com customers databases using Scribe.

    Hello,

You can also use the tool Instance adaptor . But to use that you first need to install Data connector in CRM.
