Owner can't see his own record

Dear reader,
This might be the weirdest little bugger I encountered so far.
We have a custom entity in which every user in the system has at least one record that he owns. Works perfectly except for one user. He can't see his record no matter what we do.
Ofcourse he has security privileges to see his own record. I have copied his entire security profile to my own account and I do see my own record. If I give him admin privileges, he can see any record including his own.

The database shows clearly that he really ís owner of this record. The owning guid corresponds with the guid of his systemuser.

I'm out of options. Looking the wrong way maybe? Any suggestions?

Thanks for thinking along with me.

Regards,
Jeroen

    Hi  Jeroen,

I am not sure , below steps give you some clue -

    - Try to check in advanced find whether record  showing or not .

    - Check the views  filter condition.

    - Do you have any business unit implemented ?  Check also other user in that business unit whether they can see or not to make sure the BU works fine.

    Hi,

Try checking the access with record link, just to see if he is getting insufficient privilege access issue.

Also check "Append" and "Append To" privileges to all the related entity lookup fields and navigations or any other dependencies with the record. make sure of having the privilege on all required dependents like views, web resources/Iframses(if any)

Qsn, Record is not available in view/adv. find or error when try to open?

    Hi guys,

    thanks for replying this quick!

I send the direct url to this user and he can actually open it and see the data. The view that we use only filters on active records (which this particular one is) and we're currently working with one business unit only.

    Any more ideas?

    Jeroen

No records to be shown, not even with no filtering at all.

    Hi,

Then he has all the required privileges in place to see the record.

can you share the filter screenshot?

If I understand correctly, he is not able to see the owned record in view - how about other browsers/private browser?

    Hi,

yeah, the privileges really seem to be right.
The filter is configured like this:

    2019_2D00_01_2D00_09_5F00_14_2D00_07_2D00_00.png

    (Translation: Status equals to Active)
All tested browsers show the same result.

    regards,

    Jeroen

Yeah, already have several hotshots looking at it, but it just doesn't make sense. Well, if no one can think of another option, I'll see if MS can help me.

Thanks for not making me feel like a fool ;-)

Last  options  , might be problem with the security role . Did you assigned same security role to other user ? Does the other user can see the records after assigned same security role ?
