Hi Experts,

Customer requirement to filter pool lookup based on Production order finished goods ItemId. Like if Finished itemId group is "301" then only pool shows PET in lookup.

Should I have to create Table include field PoolId,ItemGroup extended data type. How to filter pool lookup based on Finished goods itemid selection while creating Production order.

Thanks,
Faiz

    Hi Faiz,

Firstly, indeed you need a table with a relation between item groups and production pools. Then you can create an override for the lookup. You can probably get some help on how to do this by reading the next blog: AX / D365FO – How to: Add a Lookup Form to a Control in X++ – AX / Dynamics 365 For Finance and Operations blog

    Hi Andre,

I have created a table with fields ItemGroup and Pool. Now I need to know how to pass queryBuildRange.value('FGPET') when corresponding ItemId selected in production control.

    Thanks,
    Faiz
