I am trying to delete an Inventory Item but I get a message stating 'this item is a component on one or more bills of Materials'. Following various solutions on Microsoft support document 933028, I have removed Closed MO's, Removed Inventory Transactions, removed the BOM (it is a finished good) and reconciled the item. However, I can still not remove it (same error message). Does anyone have any other ideas on what I still need to do please?

I would download this search tool for use in SSMS and find all the tables in which this part exists and remove them.

Make sure you have a backup before deleting.
