How do i block users from editing bank account list

Hi,

One of the client's I am working with wants to block all users from editing Vendor bank account information. They should be able to view it but not edit it and only 2 users should have edit options. The client is using Dynamics Nav 2013. Is there is way this can be done.

Hi, Create a new Permission Set (you can use the Copy Permission function), then add this table when setting permissions, and delete Modify Permission. Finally, assign this permission set to the user.

hello

alternatively you could have a customisation developed subject to a flag in the User Setup table, which makes the page unmodifiable if the flag is active

We had to work it out from the back end to allow or block the access by creating a user setup where it will let the admin allow only those users who have access.
