Hi

I read something the other day (can't remember where sorry), that there is going to be an additional service pack for FRx.

Does anyone know anything about this?

If so, do you know whether it will include compatibility for 64 bit?

    Heather,

    Yes, SP12 for FRx 6.7 is complete and pretty much tested.  I think MS is just going through the last stages before releasing it.  It should be out by mid April from what I have heard.  

    Unfortunately, it will not include 64 bit compatibility.  This would be more than MS is willing to invest in this product.  I did hear they are at least 'thinking' about a SP13 but don't hold your breath.

    This was on dynamicsblogger.com today:

    FRx 6.7 Service Pack 12 for Microsoft Dynamics GP is now available on Customer source for download. The upgrade path for SP12 is from SP9. In other words, One must apply service pack 9 before applying this service pack. Note that the service pack availability is for existing customers only of GP 2010 and GP 10. New customers to GP 2010 must use Management Reporter.

    SP 12 does not include the following 2010 features. These features, however, are available in Management Reporter.

    • Filtering on Reporting Ledgers

    • Budget Transactions and Unposted Budgets

    It is recommended to test the service pack in your test environment before applying the same in production environment.

    FRx SP12 has been released. See blogs.msdn.com/.../microsoft-frx-service-pack-12-released.aspx for more information.

    We don't plan to offer FRx on 64-bit. The replacement for FRx, which is Management Reporter, is a 64-bit application.
