Dexterity Debugger error in GP 2013 R2

I updated my Dexterity code from GP 12.1538 to 12.1745 (R2). I compiled the dictionary and chunked it, installed it and everything is working as before.

Now I want to go in and make a change to the code and run it through debug. I am getting the following message when I try to log into GP in Debug mode:

I have Dexterity 12.00.0270.000 installed.

Does anyone know how to resolve this error?

Thanks,

Diane Hays

    Hi,

Can you send the screenshot of the error?

It's not letting me post the screen shot for some reason. The error message says: Unhandled script exception: Script '[871]()' not found. EXCEPTION_CLASS_SCRIPT_MISSING." There is an OK button and when you click that it says "'SQL Login l_login_CHG on form Login'.

Did you get testmode to work?  If so, what was the issue? Having same error message.

I was receiving the same error.. looks like you need to be running Dex 12.00.0311 and then the message goes away.

Try copying the GPDWin32.dll from Dynamics GP application installed folder to your Dexterity folder and this will resolve this issue

Additonally copy Dex.ini file from Dynamics GP Data folder to Dexterity Data folder.

Note: Take a copy of the existing dex.ini file.

Compile All on the dictionary worked for me.
