Where would I be able to find the total amount of user licenses and the license types?

Hi Partner,

For a specific user, you can check all licenses to see which are assigned to him and which are unassigned.

Go to Microsoft 365 admin center, Users > Active user:

Expand Billing > Licenses:

These are licenses owned by your organization that were bought from ‎Microsoft‎ or 3rd-party providers.

Select one license to view details:
