Unable to qualify lead from child BU, inspite of having system admin privileges.

Hi Experts,

I'm facing a weird problem while qualifying lead.

I'm in child BU and having system administrator permission.

But it says:-

"You can't qualify this lead because you don't have permissions to create accounts."

Any help will be much appreciated.

Note: I have system admin role.

Thanks

    Hi Sardar,

The error message you're getting seems a custom one. Chech if there is any plugin running on QualifyLead message or plugin/workflow running on Account create which only allows these operation to be performed for some users.

    Hi Sardar,

never seen an error like this.

To discover which plugin give that error

    - disable all plugin step regarding accounts from admin > customization section

    - reanable one plugin per time

After discovering the "guilty" plugin, proceed to modify them.

    Hope it helps!

    Hi Nuno

I have a plugin on qualify of lead.

I have disabled the plugin step, but with no luck.

This issue seems to be with the users who are in child BU's. The parent BU is working fine.

I have even downloaded the error log, which doesn't give much information.

    Error Log:-

    Hi Sardar,

Do you have PSA installed on this instance at all?

I ask as I am facing the same issue on an instance where I have PSA installed and I have created child BU's where users in the Child BU's get the same error.

Move them BU to parent and they can qualify with out an issue.

May not be related but one thing I have noticed when qualifying a work item lead to an Opportunity.

On the PSA opportunity form the account manager is not being set as the user to qualified the lead but to system in V9 instance. where as in V8.2 the account manager was set to the user qualifying the lead.

I mention that as I suspect there is a issue in the plugin which is specific to V9 and have logged a case with Microsoft for this and they are investigating.

But it could be that this no permissions to create account error when in a child BU is also somehow related??

Hi, we are facing similar issue in D365 Online instance and the user is part of child BU. Were you able to resolve the issue?

    Hi Diksha,

I think you need to raise a ticket with MS regarding this issue.

    We haven't done yet.

    Hi Iain,

    Might be...Not sure.

I think this is the issue with V9.0 update, Raising ticket with Microsoft will do.

İ resolve the problem with copy role.

İ copy same role in Parent BU and give role child BU user.
