I am an inexperienced CRM dynamics user. Would like to know if there is a way to combine data fields from two separate contact records. I am interested in being able to prepare a letter addressing two spouses (eg., Mr. and Mrs. John and Jane Doe). John Doe and Jane Doe each have individual contact records but are "connected" via the crm "connection" (connection role = spouse). Thank you for any help.

you can do a very ulgy version of this using a process dialog.
if your crm is on premise - to do it correctly, i would use a custom workflow activity using the crm 2011 sdk. (here is an example of a custom workflow activity, you will need to change it to meet your needs andreaswijayablog.blogspot.co.nz/.../crm-2011-custom-workflow-activity-send.html )
for online, you could try doing the same as above, using the approach found here
