Delivery Calendar?

Hello;

Is there functionality that exists within D365 F&O such that I can define on which day of the week or month that planned replenishments fall?

For example, if I wanted receipts twice per month on the same day each month.. or if I wanted the entire month of requirements to be delivered on the same day each month.. is that possible?  MRP would then calculate the appropriate replenishment quantity based on the days of coverage and the delivery date specified.

Note:  for those who may be familiar with SAP, I am wondering if there is an equivalent function in D365 for Planning Calendars.

Thanks!

    Hi,

    Yes, so you can define your delivery or receipt calendar and plan in your sales order or purchase order as shown in the figure below

    You can also assign a calendar to your vendor, your warehouse and utilize these in your planning.

    You can follow these links for more details

    Hope that's helpful.

    Hi,
    The supply chain module in FO involves planning and scheduling functions. You can define replenishment rules such as lead time, safety stock, and order strategy using relevant parameters. In the master planning you can also set parameters about the plan. In addition, as Mohamed said, D365 FO supports providing a delivery schedule for a purchase order or sales order, specifying the expected receipt or delivery date for each line.
    Best Regards,
    Hana
