how to create a Custom multi select lookup for resco MobileCrm

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

Hi,

We are storing some visit reasons for an appointment into the connections and have a custom web-resource to handle multi selection.

We are starting to implement Resco MobileCrm and users want this same functionality on appointment form via a multi select drop down, something similar to required field on the appointment. Any suggestions how this can be done.

Thanks and Regards,

Muba

    Muba,

Here is the full list of controls you can use - www.resco.net/javascript-bridge-reference and "regarding-type" field is not one of those. You will have to looks for other way to implement your requirement.

    Dear Andrew,

Many thanks for you getting back on this, firstly apologies - I kind of messed up between required and regarding - I mean the required field  - it allows me to select multiple items from the drop down and also delete already selected one (small red x) .

With ComboBoxItem - I can create a custom control to select from a list , but it only seems to allow single selection at a time. Is there a way i can create something like the required field shown in the snapshot.

    Thanks and Regards,

    Muba

To be honest regarding field is not a Multiselect but multitarget because you can't select several values for this field - only one but from several entities enabled for that field.

Again I'm not sure what do you mean with the second part - can you please provide a reference to Resco's JSBridge documentation that describes functionality that is available?

We are on Dynamics 365 8.x and going to implement Resco MobileCrm . My query is with regards to Resco MobileCrm. I could see that they have a Multi Select Lookup field for example on the Regarding field of appointment. But i dont see how to create a custom one on the jsbridge documentation. There is a comboboxItem available , but that is only for single select option.

    Hello,

What version are you on? Is it 9.0 and OOB multiselect optionset?

If answer is yes then you should wait till Resco implement this control in their client application.
