We have CRM production and QA/test servers in the same domain using separate databases. We have only one Exchange server. The users use CRM for Outlook connected to prodcution normally. However, there are times when those same users need to test new functionality on the QA server. Being that CRM for Outlook only connects to one CRM instance, they use the web client to connect to the QA environment. In this latest test, they need to send (and possibly) receive emails in the QA environment. Is this possible? The users have only the one email account and use their domain logins to access CRM in both environments. Do i configure the email router in QA? If so, will this affect their production CRM for Outlook? Currently everyone is setup to use CRM for Outlook in both environments.
Bottom line is that the users need to send emails from two different CRM instances in the same domain using the same Exchange server (and email account) without anything getting confused. They may also need to receive emails in the QA account. Can it be done?
Thanks,
