Cost Type no. on the GL account

The cost type no. is not showing on the GL account under the cost accounting fasttab. The GL account is linked to the cost type card under GL account range field. 

How do I link the GL account to the cost type, such that the cost type no. appears under the cost accounting fasttab in the GL account?

    which page is that? is that standard BC or an addon?

    if it belongs to an addon please contact your BC partner.

    If you want to start with Cost Accounting you can run "Get Cost Types from Chart of Accounts".
    This gives you a 1:1 relationsship between G/L Accounts and Cost Types.
    Next you can "clean up" the Cost Types if you want (remove some cost types, and "group" G/L Accounts in one Cost Type, just make sure all P&L Accounts are covered in Cost Types).
    And then from the Chart of Cost Types click "More Options / Actions / Functions and use function "Register Cost Types in Chart of Accounts".
