Hi All,
 
Just wanted to Understand, how can we configure during master planning or scheduling for Alternative Route or Bill of material/Formula.

    Hi,
    Depending on the question you asked, it seems that you can find the method of creating a route in the documentation here: Create a production route for a product | Microsoft Learn.
    In addition, the following document explains in detail how to create an itinerary, create a BOM, and associate an operation with a BOM: D365 SCM |Let's Talk Production Control |Discrete Manufacturing |Routes & BOM|Part 8 (linkedin.com).

    You can create as many alternate BOM / Routes as you want, mark the BOM / Route / BOM version / Route version as approved, but do not activate them.  you'll have to manually select the alternate BOM / Route version prior to firming, planning will not automatically select the alternate.
     
    If your alternates are different based on "From Qty", site, or dates, you can have multiple active & approved BOM / Route versions and the planning engine will select the correct one.  But note you can't have any overlap on those three data elements.
