Outlook integration without installing the CRM Outlook extension?

Hi, first post on the forum.

As per the title, does anyone know if it is possible to integrate with outlook (i.e. one way synching of appointments to outlook) out of the box, without installing the CRM outlook extension?

Thanks

Robin

    Hi,

There is no way of doing this with CRM2011 but if you wait for CRM2013 - you will get server side sync which will perform syncing of appointments on the server side with no need for the outlook client (Provided you are using Exchange 2010/2013)
