Hi

We are using CRM2015_Plugin.AutoNumber in our Dynamic CRM application ( Online ) for auto number generation.
(This plug in is used for generating a particular field value in case entity, while creating the case).

Recently MS has upgraded our DEV environment from 8.2 to 9.0 version.

Then on wards, while trying to create a case record (Incident) its throwing the below exception.

Unhandled Exception: System.ServiceModel.FaultException`1[[Microsoft.Xrm.Sdk.OrganizationServiceFault, Microsoft.Xrm.Sdk, Version=9.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=31bf3856ad364e35]]: sdkmessageprocessingstep With Id = af0b93f2-97d1-e611-80ec-c4346badb10c Does Not ExistDetail:

I believe you are using this solution: archive.codeplex.com

This may not be supported in v9. Recommend you to take a look at CRM OOB autonumber solution: community.dynamics.com/.../d365-v9-0-a-feature-a-day-auto-numbering-in-v9-0

Thank you Arun. I could not confirm whether the Auto Number plugin (archive.codeplex.com) supports Upgrade 9.0 or not. But the new inbuilt auto number feature has been integrated without loosing the continuity and without creating new fields. This feature is implemented with the help of Auto Number Manager plugin available with XRM Tool box. This is pretty easy and I would recommend to anyone who is struggling with Auto number, to use this feature rather than relying on a relatively complex Auto Number plugin.
