All other programs are working correctly.

Windows settings are also setup correctly otherwise I would have same problems elsewhere in Windows environment.

Go to "My Settings" inside your business central and check what is the region.

Then check your windows regional settings for the same region what is the decimal symbol.

    I have the same issue.

As the Dutch regional has a comma as decimal separator (instead of a point) the numeric keypad still types a point instead of a comma. So changing this setting in BC doesn't influence the behavior of the dot on the numeric keypad.

I've checked other programs as well, when Dutch regional settings, no other program uses a [.], they all use a [,] on this keyboard. When I use M$ Excel, it uses the comma (as it should be).  Except for BC...

This causes operators making mistakes with numbers and that's bad...

I would like this solved as well...

    Tip

There may be occasions when you want to use the decimal separator to enter a period (.). For example, suppose you were entering a date range in a filter, like 01/01/2022..04/01/2022, or anything that requires a period. To accommodate this case, press the 'Alt+Decimal Separator' keys on the numeric keyboard. This key combination switches the decimal separator between outputting a period and the decimal separator as determined by the Region setting.
