Applying reference change on a production order with a sales order reference

When attempting to apply a date change on a production order referenced to a sales order I get the following message /Insert the active versions for bill of materials and route?/.

However, the item only has a single route and BOM. Any idea where this is being prompted from?
I have the same question (0)

    Hi,
I found an old thread with a user who had a similar issue to yours before: Item Has No Active Version Setup And Is Therefore Blocked For Transactions (dynamics.com).
He selects the part and select Version A (they have versions A and B). It then asks him to Insert The Active Versions for bill of materials and route. He answers Yes. Then get the message "Item *** Has No Active Version Setup And Is Therefore Blocked For Transactions"
    Best regards,
    Kevin

The tab change of reference is a mod. Am I correct?
Whatever logic is triggered asks to retrieve the active version of the BOM and Route

This is a modification. The BOM ID and Route ID fields were empty under the setup fast tab. I was able to access the table and import the values which then fixed the pop up.
