Knowledge Articles Quick Find error

Hi everybody,

I'm facing an issue with Knowledge Articles Quick Find error.

Whenever I'm in a view of KA, using the quick find functionality leads me to the following error:

The log:

Unhandled Exception: System.ServiceModel.FaultException`1[[Microsoft.Xrm.Sdk.OrganizationServiceFault, Microsoft.Xrm.Sdk, Version=9.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=31bf3856ad364e35]]: System.Xml.XmlException: Microsoft.Crm.CrmException: An unexpected error occurred.

From what you can see in red, it seems something related to a system plugin working with the full text search functionality (that cannot be disabled in D365 online).

Here the attemps I made in order to solve the problem (with no luck, unfortunately).

  • I created a view with the same columns of the quick find view. This one works fine.
  • I deleted all the Knowledge articles, maybe the issue was related to some dirty characters or something similar, and I created a new one, with a very simple title and content. The issue is still there.

Somewhere i read that it could take some time to refresh the full text index, but I don't know if it's the case.

What do you think I could try to solve this issue?

Thanks in advance

Fabrizio
