Hi All,

Can I please have an update on what is the latest version of SQL Server that CRM 2016 / 365 can be on? Previously (around 3 months ago) it could not be installed on SQL Server 2016/2017 due to various reasons. Is it still SQL Server 2014 it should be on?

I would like to know if you`re using an On-Premise version of CRM or the Online . I believe you`re referring to the On-premise version of CRM. Now SQL 2017 is used.

SQL 2017 is supported though you need to make updates to the installation media. The compatibility list for CRM 2016 below has a link to the update you need to do a raw 8.0 installation with 2017.

Currently on CRM2015 but want to get to 365 on premise. They want to move to a server which already has SQL Server 2017 on as Microsoft GP is currently situated there and want everything on one server. I thought there were problems with what reporting services and another problem which I can't remember at the moment.

Do you have any guides or video tutorials you can suggest to install CRM 2016/365 on a Windows Server 2016 machine using SQL Server 2017 by any small chance?
