Integration Manager Keys Error

Our company has been considering doing some work with AP and integration manager to bring in vendor invoices.  I realized that we actually had IM on our  GP 10.0 CDs and installed it.  I tried entering the registration keys found in our GP install but it gives me an error telling me Invalid Keys.  GP works fine though. We started on 7.0 and over the years have upgraded to 10.0.

I can't find any clear answer on how we get valid registration keys for IM. I have seen if you upgrade you get a key for 200+ days from original purchase, but coming from 7.0 that seems to be way past that limit. It would seem to me having actually installed the product from Disk 2  of GP 10.0 I wouldn't need actually purchase the whole product, I simply need a valid key for it.  I have the product right?? Can you just buy a key for IM or do we need to actually purchase IM as an add on for the 4K price tag i'm seeing around.

Any help appreciated in understanding where to go from here!

Thanks!

You have to purchase Integration Manager. If you already own it, it will be included on your module list and have its own registration key. I understand what you are saying about the install being included on the CD, but think of it this way: the registration key IS what you buy; that purchase gives you the right to use the software. Possessing the installation files does not.

"Integration Manager - Conversions" probably came with your original Great Plains purchase, but as you said, it was time-limited. It was intended to help you migrate your legacy data when you first installed GP. The installation files were included on the CD as a convenience. To import purchasing transactions on an ongoing basis, you need to buy Integration Manager as an a la carte module.

Consult your Dynamics partner. They can tell you what licensing you own, quote the price, sell you the software, and provide you with valid keys.
