fields like sales order and purchase orders are sorted by lowest number or oldest date.

You can change this by changing the sorting. Is there a way to set the sorting with the newest day at the top by default? Now we have to change the sorting everytime we open the fields sales orders or purchase orders, because we are not interested in orders from years ago.

Default sorting settings

Hi, if you don't want to customize it, you can let the user save it as a new view, but because BC does not support setting the default view, you still need to click it......

Yes, it is possible to have your newest day at top by default, but it would require customization to achieve this..
