Place holder (explanatory/watermark text) for Option set in CRM Portals

Hi ,

I have a requirement where I need to add explanatory/watermark text for one of the option set filed in our CRM portal.

Can anyone please help if there is any possible way to achieve this?

    you can enable the tooltip through metadata: community.adxstudio.com/.../entity-form-metadata

    or also add through JS: community.dynamics.com/.../295619

    Hi Samhitha,

    Are you referring to the placeholder text which appears inside the field? If yes then that is more applicable for text input fields. Option set will already have values populated so you can go for the above suggestion of displaying a tooltip (recommended) , or make the first option text as "Please select..." and set it as default.
