Business Central API v2.0 - Transfer Order, Sales Return Order

Hello, My name is Peter Lee from Deex Korea.

It seems like there is no Transfer Order and Sales Return Order in the documentation below.

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/business-central/dev-itpro/api-reference/v2.0/

I do realize that we can add Transfer Order and Return Order in the menu Web Services on Business Central and then use the Odata and SOAP URL to connect with other program. But our client requests for the documentation for Transfer Order and Sales Return Order.

Can these two(Transfer Order and Sales Return Order) be added to API v2.0 documentation?

Thank you.

    hello

not being managed by standards, you cannot find it in documentation

send the customer documentation customised by you that includes the microsoft documentation and your part concerning transfer orders

Until the endpoints exist as part of the standard api’s I would say no. Developing your own or your web services are the only current options. If it helps in the meantime there is a lot of generic documentation about web services: docs.microsoft.com/.../web-services

Couple that with some of your own based on the standard pages output you should be in the clear. Worth considering the api documentation is just an example of what the commands take as input and provide as output. Not a huge task to generate your own. Hopefully that will appease your client for the time being
