How can I disable Configure Copilot and agent capabilities for any specific table a specific field?

As given in field "Certifying Staff LEY ID" there is a Copilot UI given I want to unhide remove this option from this field. Does anyone have idea on this?

Hi Mahek,

As per my knowledge you can’t turn Copilot off for a single table/field. Copilot features are managed per capability (e.g., Autofill, Summarize, Chat) and per user/role, not per field.
Options (supported)
1) Deny it for selected users/roles

Remove/deny permission “Allow Copilot Autofill” (System object 9700) via the COPILOT SYS FEATURES permission set or your own set. Users without this permission can’t use Autofill. But you need to copy the original permission set and do the changes and remove the highlighted line and assign it to the user who should not have access to this functionality.

And of course, remove the original permission set by the name of COPILOT SYS FEATURES.

2) Turn off the capability for the whole environment

Go to Copilot & agent capabilities and Deactivate Autofill. This hides the sparkle icon everywhere.

There is no specific setting to turn off per field or per table.

You can only disable it per capabilities or per user (by user permission).

Currently, we don't have the option to disable Autofill for a specific field.

Hi, The following new feature will be added in Business Central 2025 release wave 2 (BC27). Currently, it seems that they can only be expanded and not restricted, but you can keep an eye on it.
