Manage members for dynamic marketing list - only Full Name and Phone displayed

Hello,

when using the Unified Interface and manage the members of an existing or new dynamic marketing list, I'm currently getting the following screen when trying to test a custom query (not using a saved view):

pastedimage1608167236511v1.png

The screen only displays the Full Name field and the Phone rows / columns. We would like to customize this view and add more columns to make it easier for our users to validate their query.

I have tried and checked the following:

  • Views & Associated Views are included in the App
  • Updated the "Contact Associated View"
  • Updated the "Contact List Member View"

Is this screen currently not customizable when not selecting a system view as the query?

Thanks,

Julian

    Hello Julian,

I'm not 100% confident but you should check Contact "Lookup View".

    Hello Andrew,

    thanks for your feedback!

Unfortunately I have also checked and customized the "Lookup View" without any success. I have also checked the "Quick Find view", "Advanced Find view" & Default Public View. I can still only see the "Full Name" and "Phone" columns in the second screen when I validate a custom query (without a selected view).

    Regards,

    Julian

    Hi Julian,

I too found that the default view doesn't seem to be customizable - the only way to change the columns is indeed to select a query first.
I had expected that it would use of the "Contacts Advanced Find View" or "Contact List members View".

Can you perhaps check with support if this is a product bug or by design?

    Hi Henry,

    thanks for your reply!

I have currently a ticket open with support to clarify if it's a product bug or by design. It seems to be by design, even though I can't understand why.

As suggested workaround would be to re-create the filter within the dynamics marketing list as a personal view and add the right columns. In our case this isn't very helpful because we have 500+ marketing lists we would need to need to manually update and create a view for.

    Regards,

    Julian
