[CRM 4] My "In progress" queue is overflowing!

I have a hard time finding information (official or unofficial) about queues in CRM 4 and how they are supposed to work.

My "In progress" queue is full of items (tasks, e-mails, appointments, ect) and although I can close appointments and tasks, e-mail always remain "open".

How am I supposed to handle these items as do now want them littering my "In progress" queue?

TIA.

As long as you use the delete button in the queue view it will only remove the item from the queue. Just don't hit the delete button on the email it self.

Ah, I was afraid that I'd delete the e-mail all together when doing so.

Can I delete other items in the queue and not have them actually removed from CRM?

To remove emails from a queue simply hit the delete button on the toolbar in the queue screen. This will remove the email from the queue, but not delete the actual message from the contact history etc.

The reason this works like this is because received email have no explicit point when they are completed.
