How to assign authrization to view and edit only the personal time sheet to a user

Dear Community,

We would like to assign authorization to all tecnicians in order to view and edit personal time sheet without view other time sheet or other data inside the company (like GL Journal).

If we assign the D365 TEAM MEMBER set of authjorizations, each user can see the balance of the company ... Is it normal?

    Hi,

    you can try with different Permission Sets inside the Dynamics 365 Business Central. So for example create permission set which will have access only to the time sheets not to the balance of the company.

    Then when you create permission set, assign it to the user in the User window.

    One of our client use D365 TEAM MEMBER to see the balance, so it is differ from company to company. It will be very hard from Microsoft to determine the right security for all companies.

    Copy the permission set from Team Member to a new one, remove the permission that you don't need, and assign that new permission set.
