CRM Marketing Lists in Outlook Address Book - Send email to Marketing List from Outlook

Is there any way to import/include the CRM Marketing Lists in the Outlook Address Book?

I am looking for a way to send emails to CRM Marketing Lists using Outlook.

In scenarios where a Campaign or Quick Campain and not required, and a simple/tracked email will suffice.

Many thanks,

Ian

    Hi Ian,

you can find contact list and export contact's addresses in outlook. Either checkout link to send email without campaign.

Thanks Sandeep, although it doesn't answer the question. The link is for the same problem posted back in 2012, but is still unanswered?

I'm looking to get a direct link for Marketing Lists in Outlook. I want to do the following, all in Outlook >

    1. Open Microsoft Outlook

    2. Click 'New Email'

    3. Click 'To...'

    4. Select Marketing Lists from the Address Book selector

    5. Add the Marketing List contacts to the emails

    6. Send the Email

    Hi Sandeep/Community,

Did you have any thoughts on the Mailing Lists?

    Thanks,

    Ian

    Hi Ian,

we face the same issue and have the same requirements. Unfortunately, so far there we haven't come across a good solution either.

We did some research which included to create marketing lists as contact groups in exchange. But as far as I can remember, this would result in creating active directory users for each CRM contact. Since it's been a while that we talked about this issue, I will try to find some further input on that...

    Best regards,

    Sascha

    Hi Sascha,

Many thanks for the input, it would be useful to hear more about your findings. Although, unfortunately there would be no way we could create AD accounts for our Contacts.

Let me know if you find a solution.

    Thanks,

    Ian

    Hi,

Was there ever a solution to this ?

The closest thing we've had to an answer is that Microsoft has greatly improved emails in CRM, so using Outlook for marketing lists is not part of their roadmap.

    Thanks Wayne.
Do you know if there's a third party tool available for this ?
    Our clients needs this functionality.

You should convince your customers not to use Outlook to send email marketing.

There is a strong risk of putting their SMTP server in the spam blacklist.

Best thing is to use an email marketing software and sync subscribers using API.
