Purchase requisition change after converting to an order

Can a purchase requisition be updated by adding a line after it has been converted into a purchase order, and subsequently update the purchase order to reflect the changes?

    Once a Purchase Requisition (PR) is converted to a Purchase Order (PO), it is closed and can no longer be modified. Any updates made to the PO will not reflect back on the PR.

    The official documentation on Microsoft about the purchase requisition states that if the purchase requisition is closed, it will generate a document and will be converted into a purchase order, which cannot be changed through the purchase requisition. If a purchase order has been created, you can only modify it directly to add additional line items.

    What you can do is to add another purchase requisition to an existing purchase order. Maybe this helps somehow.
