Posting Date and Document Date

The posting date is printing on our checks in place of the document date. We were instructed to toggle the "replace posting date" optoin with the posting date listed on the screen. Do we need to stop doing this? Is there a way to keep the document date and invoice date separate?

Hello,

I assume this is done via a report. Maybe you can ask your partner to customize the report so that it meets business requirements.
