I came across ClosingDates property and couldn't find the reason as to why anyone will use it, Microsoft Docs state it specifies whether a Date can have Closing Date or not, but I am confused with what exactly is Closing Date

I have the same question (0)

One of the example is table G/L Entry on the Posting Date field. The closing date is the date with prefix C.

The closing date is dates used to close your income statement during year end. With this, you can see your income statement for year end with or without the closing entries.
