Delete XRM1 solutions

Hi, 

We have installed a demo version of XRM1 projectmanagement in our CRM online tool. however, we aren't able to delete the entire solution. 

I've manually deleted some of the entities, but am not able to delete everything ( don't know how to delete WEBresource entities). 

Can someone help?

    Hello Laura,

    To delete web resource(s) from CRM, you can navigate to Settings | Customizations | Customize the system | Web Resources | Change the View to ALL and now you can select and delete the web resources that you are looking for. Even after following above steps you are getting error while deleting the solution than please share more information with us regarding this issue.

    1. What error do you get while deleting the solution ?

    2. Is it managed or unmanaged solution ?

    3. What error do you see in event viewer when failure appears while deleting the solution ?

    Hi,

    The reason this is happening is that XRM1 automatically adds an unmanaged layer on top of the managed solution that has dependencies on the managed solution. This means that to remove the managed solution you will need to remove all the places that it has touched your unmanaged layer like adjusting form layouts etc. This is quite tricky and so XRM1 will usually help you remove the solution if you contact them.

    Hi Satish.

    Thanks for your help. I did find the related records. However, the following error occurs: Needed for Site Overview/content.. The rest I was able to delete... Any tips for deleting the last parts??

    Hi Scott,

    I've contact XRM1 and they gave me a general answer... not really helping.. They offered one of their developers to help, but this will costs 120 euro's an hour!!!
