Is there any way to change the default size of the description column in POS?

Hello,

Is there any way to change the default size of the description column in POS? Specifically, I wish to make the description column of "Find" screen bigger.  I know we can resize the columns by clicking and dragging the vertical bar between the columns on the header but I wanted to know if we could change the default column sizes so we don't even have to resize.
