We are trying to install RMS 2.0 on a 3 computers running Windows 8.1 and get the error:
"1644: You do not have sufficient privileges to complete this installation. Log on as administrator and then retry this installation."
We have made sure that the user is logged on in a Domain with Administrator rights and also have tried opening the install files in Windows Explorer and then right clicking the Setup.exe file and selecting "Run as Administrator" and have had no luck.
In the past we have had no problem installing RMS 2.0 on Windows 8.1 so it should work.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
David

I have the same question (0)Hello David,
Thank you for your question.
I would recommend also disabling the User Access Control (UAC) when installing RMS and then trying to complete the install.
Also, please note that RMS has not been tested in a domain controller environment, and it may not work correctly. You may want to log into the computer as a local administrator to complete the install.
Thank you,
