SharePoint Integration w/ Dyn 365

Hello,  I am in the process of testing the SP integration with our Dynamics 365 sandbox org.  I was wondering if it is possible to have multiple CRM instances connected to the same SP site.   When we become ready to point our live site to SharePoint, I want to make sure we can do this regardless of if the sandbox site is also pointing there.

    Depends on what you mean with site. If it's the same site collection, the answer would probably be no. And if it's technically possible, I would strongly advise you to create a seperate site collection for the sandbox instance.

    If you mean by site the SharePoint environment in general, then it is possible to connect the sandbox to one site collection and production to another site collection.

    However, this only works with SharePoint online, and in a support discussion I had, the support person was adamant that it's not possible and not supported. I didn't agree about the possible part and he was referring to a SharePoint Server (onpremises) article to prove his point.

    Thank you.  I was able to create a new site collection (SP online) and connected our sandbox instance to it.  I appreciate all of the feedback.
