Hello All,

I was wondering if it's possible to edit/add the 1) Payment Description field and 2) Lodgement Reference field of a .ABA EFT file creation (Australian banking file for uploading payment journal lines into the Bank to create payments) in Business Central Online

I cannot seem to find a way to edit/add values for these fields natively.

Kind Regards,

Infy

    Hello,

Though I mainly work in the North American databases and GB, the Data Exchange would be used to define the layout and output for an EFT file generated. Have you looked at the Data Exchange file you have added to the Bank Account Payment Export/EFT Export fields. In the Data Exchange you can look at the Header and Detail segments and the values that appear in the 2 areas you noted. You can see what field value creates these and update or if this is a fixed value, set a fixed value.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks,

    Steve
