I need to know which Portal Template was used to create a D365 Power Apps Portal.
Is there a way to obtain this information from the Portal Itself of the D365 Environment the Portal is installed on?

Hello,
You can use this API (Get Website by Id) Websites - Get Website By Id - REST API (Power Platform API) | Microsoft Learn the template name appears in the results
Excellent! Is there a list for the rest of the templates what their Portal Type values are, or is it similar/same as their name in the Template Gallery?
Hello,
For customer self service it will appear this way
The Portal ID is unique by website and cannot be used for the described purpose.

Amira
Yes, per the screen shot on my message from 9 Jan 2023 6:58 PM we determined it is the "BLANK" portal.
So is it correct to assume the value StarterPortal = Blank and if we select "Customer Portal" the value Portal Type will equal "Customer Portal"?
I ask because In the past, they've all said "StarterPortal" and that's the problem, we need to be able to determine which specific portal template was used.
How can I take the information displayed, and map it back to a specific portal template?
Does Portal ID c675f474-db22-45ff-8916-04c8347ac730 = BLANK
What is the Guid value of the "Customer Portal" template?
Where can I get a list of Portal ID's that correspond with the specific Portal Templates Microsoft has available in the creation wizard?
I need to be able to look at "some piece of data" and use that to determine which specific Microsoft provided portal template it is, or if it was a 3rd party, template, I would assume there is also a way to determine that from the Portal ID Guid and find that same value "somewhere" in the 3rd party portal template.
This looks like the starter portal, you need to have a look on that learn.microsoft.com/.../create-portal
Indeed it is. And it appears something was messed up because I had issues and ultimately had to reset my password and use a different browser which produced the result below, which appears to be exactly what we were trying to access. However, how do I determine which template was used from the information below.
Some of templates are shown below, but there are so many, I need to be certain of the exact one.
That's strange, the website user is authenticated before calling the provided URL ?
can you please record a video with the steps?
In this particular org it is only 1 website. I log into the portal with the same email/user shown below, and that user has administrative access to the portal.
Hello,
Probably you have several websites in your instance, you need to associate the web role related to the website you're testing.
By the way, you can have access to more templates here with Power Pages learn.microsoft.com/.../
Regards,
Amira
Yes that is exactly what I did, and it does not produce anything other than the screens shots already provided.
I will assume it is using the "Blank" template based on screen shots (shown below) on display at: https://d365update.com/provisioning-power-portal/
