Reconcile to GL Utility

Hello,

We have a client that we need to run the reconcile to GP utility for. They have A LOT of transactions. I can run the report for a day or even a week, but once you increase it to a month or longer, it becomes unresponsive and GP has to be forced closed. Does anyone have a workaround for this?

The problem is that the Reconcile to GL populates an Excel spreadsheet and this can take a lot of time.

This is unusable to a few of our clients because of the time it takes to run. As an alternative some of them bought The Close from Reporting Central (reporting-central.com/the-closer).

We probably have somewhere between 5-7 million a year. We are trying to run this for 1 year.

Hi,

How much is a lot of transactions? We have a few years in production and a Reconcile will take approximately 6 hours, this is one module at a time.
