Query a custom field (table extension)

I added a custom field to the table "Production Order". Now I am trying to create a query that includes that custom field, but in AL I am not seeing that field as a column in my dataitem(), and if I just enter in the column, it states "The source of a column or filter must be a field defined on the table referenced by its parent DataItem. I am hoping I am just missing something simple. I reran the Download Symbols, but still have the issue.

Thanks,

Kevin

Is the query object created in the same extension where you have defined the tableextension object with your new field?

If so, you can see the field for sure.

If the query is defined on another extension, you need to have a dependency from the extension where you have defined the new field (the extension that declares the tableextension object).

    Thanks Stefano,

the query is from a different extension and you pointed me in the right direction with the dependency and I was able to get it.
