Great Plains is allowing only 6 users to logon. Where can I change that setting to a higher value ?

You contact your reseller, place an order for additional users and once that order is processed you can log into CustomerSource to get your updated license keys. You then go into Tools->Setup->System->Registration and enter those new keys. You will then see the increased user count.
You need to buy additional licences
If you believe you are licensed for more than six users, check your license types. Perhaps, you have other licenses (limited/self-service) that need to be assigned to specific named users. You can view your licenses at Help (the blue circle with the white question mark at the top right of the main GP windows) > About Microsoft Dynamics GP and then drill into the Users hyper-link. That will should you your Full, Limited, and Self Service user counts.
