+ button not working on Opportunity Product subgrid on Opportunity form

Hi All,

Up until this morning, the + button to add new Products to an Opportunity has been working fine. However now when it's clicked on, the lookup field does not appear so no-one can add any Products.

This is also the case when logged in as a System Administrator, so I don't think that it's a security/permissions issue.

Does anyone have any advice on where to look for help? Doing an internet search brings up lots of results about how to modify the + button to always perform the Add Existing or Add New functionality.

    Clear all your browser cache (like form data & passwords) and try again

    Also try different browsers on the same

    Hi Nick,

    I have the same issue with a customer, this happens with CRM Online version 7.1.1.3113  and it happens in my case with the normal quoteproduct subgrid  (not the online edit one)

    Thanks for the help, but we found out that this was due to a change made on the View within the subgrid which I was not aware of. After that was backed out, it works correctly again.

    No probs! This was made by a colleague of mine, so I don't have all the details, but they had opened the default view for the Opportunity Products subgrid, made some changes (removed Unit) and Save As-ed to a new View, then modified the subgrid to use this new view by default.

    After removing the new view entirely and setting the subgrid back to the OOTB view, the + button worked as expected once more.

    I have the same problem here, since the CRM Online 2015 Update 1. The add button "+" doesn't respond anymore, on any browser and for any user. I have been changing views, adding new views but it doesn't do anything.

    Have you been able to resolve that ?

    Check if you didn't change the name of the subgrid. If you replace it with the custom one, the + button won't show/work.

    That was the problem, the original name was "opportunityproductsGrid". Thanks!!!

    Hi,

    We have more or less the same problem with our customer's solution. The +button on quote form for adding quote products doesn't work at all. We have customized the quote products subgrid by adding some custom entity data there (and saved it with different name). Also the +button opens a dialog for selecting the product instead of the default functionality ie. "in-line editing".

    We've done customization for the solution in our own dev environment on CRM 2015 on-premise (ver 7.0.1.129). Everything works here like a charm.

    Then we imported the solution into customer's CRM 2015 online (ver 7.1.1.4309) instance. And suddenly the +button doesn't work - nothing happens when you click it. When we removed the customizations from the subgrid, the +button started working again. But the problem is that this doesn't help at all as we really need to be able to show the custom entity information in the subgrid.

    We have verified that the relationship between the custom entity and quote product exists as it should. Also price list and products are published. So there really seems to be something wrong with how this DynCRM version handles customized subgrids.

    I guess the options that we have are

    a) Have both the standard subgrid and the custom subgrid visible so we can use the standard subgrid's +button for adding the products and the custom one for viewing all the information. Really awfull UX, but works (we tried already)

    b) Add a custom +button in the form that opens the dialogue for selecting  a product (haven't tried this yet)
