Quick Query - System Message 10508 SQL Error - Timeout expired

Client is running SL2011 (No service pack). They are getting "System Message 10508 SQL Error in Quick Query: Timeout Expired. The timeout period elapsed prior to completion of the operation or the server is not responding".

This doesn't happen to me on the server. I am hoping to get specifics from client on what specific data they might be querying. Just wondering if anybody has seen this and/or might know what the possible cause/resolution?

Did you ever find a resolution. I am on SL 2011 FP1 and receiving this error - on the server.

I found the qq view in SQL and ran the script there, then exported to Excel. Not an ideal solution, but it works for me.
