Electronic Invoices with attachments

Hi,

We have a customer in our company who sends documents electronically (xml through "Document Exchange Service"). But I found out that the xml-files doesn't embed the attachment! So the customer sends the attachment by e-mail

And now I can't figure out how to send an electronic xml-file with the attachment embedded!

Is there a simple solution to this that I am overseeing ?

    I have not utilized BC to accomplish this myself but here is a link to give you an overview and steps:

    Unless you’re able to work with the PEPPOL format development is unavoidable here. Customer sending profiles are necessary here so you can set at customer level what format is needed. If the out the box one is ok just pick that. This will force users to have the email output to be XML

    I have followed this before, but this module doesn't explain how to solve mye problem I'm afraid;)

    When creating an invoice, you can also choose to attach files. When I create an electronic invoice in peppol-format. The attachments doesn't follow the invoice, they are not created (in peppol format) or sent at all.

    I want to send an invoice as an xml-file with an attachment embedded in the xml

    The more I look into it, the more it seems I need development to solve my issue :) It seems BC doesn't have a function to output xml-invoices with embedded attachments

    The document sending profile seems to be the place. On the email option you can choose pdf & electronic document

    Yes, but that generates an email with an xml and a pdf attached to the email.

    But I want a pdf embedded (meaning attached) in an xml

    I am pretty sure development is required to solve my issue here

    Hi 

    Attachment to a peppol , is something you need too have extende the default functions in peppol.

    All depending the service provider you are using.

    So its possibel, no problem in doing this
