Hello Team,

I have create a report in reporting section and now i want to create a custome work flow through that i can convert this report into pdf with the download option.

Hello All,

Has anyone been able to accomplish this as Tin asked for? I mean generate a PDF report from a Plugin or Custom Workflow Activity for CRM Online?

I have been trying several options I have found on the web with no luck so far.

Nothing that can be used in server-side code for CRM Online.

There are plenty of examples how to do this with JavaScript code (client-side) by hooking up with the report viewer and getting the PDF from there. It works fine.

But, when trying to implement the same in server-side code, I hit the wall trying to generate the Authentication Tokens needed by CRM Online in order to open the report viewer. My knowledge of the login process in general is not that broad to automate it.

Should anyone try/succeed automating the login process to CRM Web App (not the web service of course) using .NET code C# for instance, that would be the key to get the PDF out of the Report Viewer from server-side code.

Should anyone willing to attempt it and make it work? or have any one done it?
