Third party shipping

Hello,

In AX2012 there was a predefined address purpose of "Third Party Shipping" that can be used to enter a customer's account information for a freight carrier but in D365 F&O it is no longer available..  In AX2012 the information from this "Third Party Shipping" address would be copied onto the sales order to provide the necessary account information to the freight carrier for the customer's payment.  Is there similar capability in D365?  I have not been able to find it.

Here is the information that pertains to AX2012 but I don't find information for D365.

    You still have the purpose field on the address for a customer.

    Hello Sagar,

    Thanks for the reply.

    I created a "Third Party Shipping" address purpose for postal addresses and added an address for a customer using this "Third party shipping" purpose but there is no place for me to put the customer's carrier account so that it could be copied automatically into a sales order for this customer.

    Check out this AXUG forum thread that talks about a fairly simple customization to help accomplish this in D365.  It appears that others have had to resort to this customization as well:
